I need some hint about how to mantain the status of the last selected panel in a panelBar.
Is the selectedPanel the attribute to use? How can I save in a backing bean the name of the last selectedPanel?
For me it's not clear when the valueChangeListener in a panelBar is fired. Either I'm wrong, or the change of the selection of a panel does not fire the event, so I do not know how to track the fact that a new panel has been choosed.

Some other components like your rich:panelBar (nice behaviour, indeed), shows the option to save the status without using an event Listener. It would be nice ..... (OK, I know, I can try to do it by myself..)
