1. Re: RichFaces rich:dropDownMenu component
sergeysmirnov Aug 16, 2007 2:58 PM (in response to thehire85)most likely, you have very old richfaces library. dropDownMenu was not a part of 3.0.0 version yet.

thehire85 Aug 16, 2007 3:29 PM (in response to thehire85)Thanks for the reply...I checked, and I'm using richfaces-3.0.1.
richfaces-3.0.1-SNAPSHOT.jar is located in the /lib of the deployed folder
The xml namespace i'm using in the tag is http://richfaces.ajax4jsf.org/rich
Still getting the error...any ideas? -
3. Re: RichFaces rich:dropDownMenu component
syncmaster2009 Aug 16, 2007 4:55 PM (in response to thehire85)Wow!
I've just register to Jboss foruns exactly because of this problem!!!
I've the same problem! My environment:
Windows
NetBeans 5.5.1
Jboss Seam (latest release)
RichFaces (latest release)
When editing my menu XML page the code-complete for the rich tag doesn't show me the dropDownMenu, and of course when running I have the same error regarding the tag.
I've replaced my AJAX4JSF and RICHFACES libraries from the SNAPSHOT versions that where bundled with Seam, but to no avail...
I'm a newbie, so might be something basic.
Anyhow, I have the same error when using the lates richfaces jars, and code complete on Nebeans doesn't show all available richfaces components...
Any ideas?
Thanks for the help! -
4. Re: RichFaces rich:dropDownMenu component
sergeysmirnov Aug 16, 2007 5:01 PM (in response to thehire85)if tool does not show the latest version of the component library, it is a problem of the tool, but not the library.

sergeysmirnov Aug 16, 2007 5:04 PM (in response to thehire85)The list of tags is mentioned in the tld files. The file(s) is located in the /META-INF folder of the library jar.
