JBM 2.0 release checklist

I gave up trying to create and link a wiki page for this, so here it is:

1) Check version numbers are correct
2) Check and update README
3) Check docs are correct
4) Run full test suite
5) Run all examples
6) Tag release
7) Build distro
8) Unzip distro on clean directory
9) Test all examples work from distro
10) check docs from distro
11) check readme from distro
12) test stopping and starting server using run.sh from distro
13) upload to jboss.org, including distro + all docs + javadoc
14) announce on user forum.
15) announce on blog
16) announce on twitter

0) start from a clean svn checkout

0.5) Make sure the distro is built using *Java 5*

7.5) make sure there are no unwanted files in th edistro, .svn build, data etc

13.5) upload the jars in maven repository

13.4, build the resource jar needed for eap from the tagged build

12.5) test stopping and starting server using run.sh from distro in *clustered* config

I wouldn't have any clue on how to do that. If that's a single line command can someone please add it to the list.. if that's a more complicated approach maybe a link to another wiki?

since we don't use maven this has to be done manually. Its no biggy as we can do it at any time after we have released.
