<agy:inputSubmit is my facelets composition.
Its display attribute is mapped with the rendered attribute of the Tomahawk commandButton component inside my facelets composition.
An idea ? -
4. Re: Facelets composition problem since 3.1.0
ilya_shaikovsky Aug 22, 2007 4:47 AM (in response to _jmax_)Check that you do not update via ajax components that depends on rendered directly. For such components - you should use wrapper outputPanel and update this wrapper.

5. Re: Facelets composition problem since 3.1.0
_jmax_ Aug 22, 2007 5:23 AM (in response to _jmax_)Before this problem, i used RichFaces 3.0.1/Ajax4JSF 1.1.1 and it works fine.
Now, with the same code but with RichFaces 3.1.0, it dont work anymore.
Thats why, i think it's a richFaces 3.1.0 problem. -

8. Re: Facelets composition problem since 3.1.0
fabmars Aug 25, 2007 8:37 AM (in response to _jmax_)I have another issue with facelets and 3.1.0-rc3 :
One of my compositions has a <h:inputText> containing an "unnamed" <ui:insert/> so that I can add converters and validators to the inputText.
This no longer works with 3.1.0 and the facelets engine complains : <f:validateLength> Parent not an instance of EditableValueHolder: javax.faces.component.html.HtmlPanelGrid@391b0c
It means the inserted converters/validators end up outside of the inputText but rather in its parent, which is indeed a panelGrid. -
9. Re: Facelets composition problem since 3.1.0
mgrouch Aug 25, 2007 12:30 PM (in response to _jmax_)There is a bug in Facelets ui:insert
https://facelets.dev.java.net/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=234
Not sure if you are using broken facelets version though
