cluster problems with linux

Hi,

I am running the jboss cache on Enterprise Linux Advance Server v3
and it works ok.

my problem is that when I start the jboss cache on windows xp that is
in the some local network with out any firewall it does not work.

my test :
1) jboss cache started on linux.
2) jboss cache starting on windows -
it sends requests to the linux and then the linux sends the
answer (I so the answer in TCP Dump on the linux) but the
jboss cache on the windows does not get it,
It appears stuck!!!, Waiting for an answer.

Does someone know why?

This can be a problem in mcast. Please read the JGroups documentation to test out your machine setup for mcast.
