Why doesnt Hibernate ship with JBoss Cache?

Is it because JBoss Cache does not work with graphs?

or is it because to support POJO caching, you have to use AOP?

If I attempt to intregrate JBoss Cache AOP with Hibernate am I likely to run into problems?

I am afraid that you will have to re-phrase your question. JBossCacheAop doesn't work with Hibernate becuase it is not needed there.

Hibernate uses TreeCache instance.
