Contents of a Tree Cache as a collection?

I have a req to validate the tree cache with a snapshot of the database periodically i.e is there an API to pull out all the contents of the tree cache as a java collection?

Sorry, no. You'd have to walk the tree.

Thanks - Is there any other alternatives to this or is my only option to write a routine to walk to tree ?

In other words - Is there a way to dump the contents of the cache into a flat file or something that I can parse?
