1. Re: Interested in PojoCache performance number?
mbollaert Jan 17, 2007 12:04 PM (in response to ben.wang)Hi ben,
I'm trying since yesterday to run your benchmark (I would like to perform a detailed comparison of your results with results from my own benchmarks in order to understand why I do not find the same results at all), but can't find the right sources, notably the main Server class launched by the script.
I tried to find it in various releases (notably 1.3.0 SP4 and later versions) with no success. I also tried to dig into the CVS tree but the class seems to have been moved several times, and I did not find a complete version of it (I only found an almost empty implementation that do even not parse the config file...).
Could you give me some fresh pointers to the resources needed by this benchmark please ? Thanks in advance.

2. Re: Interested in PojoCache performance number?
ben.wang Jan 18, 2007 9:39 AM (in response to ben.wang)MBollaert, I have just ran it on JBossCache_1_4 and it works. Here is what I did (documented in that wiki, I believe):
1. check out cvs as:
cvs co -r Branch_JBossCache_1_4_0 JBossCache
2. Follow tests/scripts/readme.txt steps to execute the tests.
Please let me know how that goes.

3. Re: Interested in PojoCache performance number?
mbollaert Jan 18, 2007 2:12 PM (in response to ben.wang)Thank you for your answer.
I must admit that your suggestion is documented in the wiki... =) But as I'm not so familiar with the cvs client command line I tried another way.
I will try the regular way. It may take some time as I'm quite busy now and I'm not sure my working environment will allow me to do that easily, but once it's done I'll come back to give feedback.
Thanks again.
Mathias.
