manik Jun 1, 2006 12:35 PM (in response to ameyas7)You don't need an app server. All you need are the jars that are packaged with the JBoss Cache distro.
Data stored in teh cache is stored in memory, and this in-memory state is replicated across all JVMs that start instances of the cache.
Download the distro and check out some of the examples and tutorials that come with it.

or is this ditributed across jvms on same (local) machine?
