    Does RichFaces have any support?

      I don't see much support here compared to the ICEFaces boards.

            We working with RichFaces last 4 months. There was lots off problem but we find every answer here, and some off our requests were implemented. Even thoe I didn't use ICEfaces so I don't know how are thing in there forum.

              The answer is yes. Red Hat provides support for their products including JBoss RichFaces. Ask Red Hat sales representatives for more information.

                What is the difference between Red Hat paid support and this kind off support - forum? Is it response time? Is it support use someone to tell you how to use RichFaces or ask for new features, or else?

                  This forum has a numerous questions everyday answered. But unfortunatelly we can't handle everyday every message. :( Main paid support difference - we guaranty that the response time will be short.

                      Most of the questions usually has an answers in the same day. Feel free to up your unanswered topics if it was lost.

                        Paid support is an agreement between you from one side and the responsible people from other side that guaranties the service you are paid for.

                        Jboss forums are the public forums where there are no two sides. Guys who ask questions here might answer questions from other developers if they know the answers or just have clues.

                        In case of paid support, the exact response time is guarantied according to the agreement.
                        The response time on the public forum depends of how clear you are able to express your problem. If the question is clear enough, you might get the answer in a couple of minutes.

                        Paid support even can guaranties you that you will get an exclusive version of the product with bugs fixed right for you by your request, You can get the specific components that might never been in the future releases.

                        The forums is a main source for us (or at least for me) to understand what feature (components, enhancements etc) required for community.
