With Spring, you can create an instance of JBoss Cache, and indicate the initialization and destruction method in your XML file. -

ottuzzi Mar 23, 2007 9:21 AM (in response to sonicfab)Hi there,
I did exactly as you (sonicfab) suggested: I created a CacheManager singleton and I initialize/destroy cache in a ServletContextListener.
Pay attention during redeploy: if I redeploy a webApp using TreeCache in WebLogic 8.1 it hangs during cache shutdown; everything works as expected if you stop/start your webApp.
Bye
