2. Re: Standard JSF Comp + a4j:support + firefox = major bug?
alexsmirnov Sep 13, 2007 3:08 PM (in response to bruno.arruda)Where is a two requests generated by a first code snipped :
one is AJAX from a4j:support component, and second is a ordinary form submit. To disable non-ajax form submit, append 'disableDefault="true"' to a a4j:support tag. -
3. Re: Standard JSF Comp + a4j:support + firefox = major bug?
bruno.arruda Sep 13, 2007 3:21 PM (in response to bruno.arruda)No blank page anymore but no rerendering of the panel.
Just to try to make thins clearly, when the user press the button the method on action changes the MB attribute page(it is kind a menu), so, the other part of the page needs to be rerendered:<h:panelGrid id="mainPanel2"> <h:panelGroup id="mainCustomerPanelGroup2"> <a4j:include viewId="#{mainCustomer.page}" id="a4jInclude1" /> </h:panelGroup> </h:panelGrid>

4. Re: Standard JSF Comp + a4j:support + firefox = major bug?
alexsmirnov Sep 13, 2007 3:31 PM (in response to bruno.arruda)Are you have no validation errors on page ?
You can use <rich:messages> to check errors. This component always will be updated by AJAX , to display current status. -
5. Re: Standard JSF Comp + a4j:support + firefox = major bug?
bruno.arruda Sep 13, 2007 4:40 PM (in response to bruno.arruda)No errors, tried with both rich:messages and h:messages tags
This problem only happens with firefox, i can use normally on IE.
Have u tried this combination on firefox?:<h:commandButton value="Test" action="#{mainCustomer.processForward}" id="mainCustomerCommandButton4"> <a4j:support event="onclick" reRender="mainPanel2"></a4j:support> </h:commandButton>
