It took us 2 hours to completely set it up, this included apache2 for the web front end and mysql for the database.
The savings? We saved tons of money! Let's see, if we were to go with weblogic, it would've cost us around $40k to run our application on a quad-cpu server!!! And believe me, weblogic is not fun to set-up and maintain. Not to mention they bombard you with their other mediocre products after you're locked into their mediocre app. server. Leave us alone already!
In summary, jboss saves us a lot of money and it performs as well as other expensive application servers.
