Compiling the source & ConnectionInPool

Hi Folks,

Trying to compile up the src. for 2.4.4 and get problems with ConnectionInPool.java (and StatementInPool etc.) regarding non-implementatino of stuff from java.sql.Connection (e.g. int getHoldability(int)). Any ideas please?

BTW: I'm trying to proove that connections are going back into the pool - is there a simpler recipe to do this? Logging is not giving me anything (set LoggingEnabled to true)

Don't compile under java 1.4. Those wrappers are not jdbc 3 compliant. The jboss 3 stuff is, but it requires some nasty preprocessing to work with jdbc 2 and 3

Use the log4j configuration to set up logging: you will see plently of messages about pooling.

A bit lost on what to set in log4j [which setting will yield connection closure]. What does LoggingEnabled do in additon to log4j or in competition with log4j?
