davidjencks Sep 5, 2002 8:49 PM (in response to matn1)did you deploy the driver somewhere? did it get deployed sucessfully before your app tried to use it? I don't look for the driver until you try to use a connection.

anyway this is what I did to get around the problem
I was having for below.
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.gjt.mm.mysql.Driver
1) Goto
<http://www.mysql.com/downloads/api-jdbc.html>
2) DownLoad The MySql J2 Connector zip
3) Unzip the mysql-connector-java-2.0.14-bin.jar file from the zip and
deploy it in your specific deploy directory in JBoss3.0 -

what I did to solve this for problem, but below is what I
did to solve
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.gjt.mm.mysql.Driver
1) Goto
<http://www.mysql.com/downloads/api-jdbc.html>
