1. Re: Jaws, Standardjaws, and EJB datasource
tdang Sep 25, 2002 3:19 AM (in response to dwightsmith)Which version of JBoss are you using? Since JBoss 3.xx uses jbosscmp-jdbc.xml for mapping. In this file you have a tag for mapping datasource:
java:/MyDB
Take a look in QuickStart.
Hope this helps. -

dwightsmith Sep 25, 2002 12:56 PM (in response to dwightsmith)Thanks for the help. I will try posting to the other forum because its more the EJB bean association to a database/table that I am wondering about as opposed to the JDBC stuff.
Thanks again -
3. Re: Jaws, Standardjaws, and EJB datasource
chgrimm Sep 26, 2002 4:00 AM (in response to dwightsmith)the way you did it was absolutely right if you want to use ony one database with one schema.
you can still use standardjaws.xml & jaws.xml with jboss 3.x
if you want to access multiple databases or database-schemas just specify your datasource in the particular jaws.xml
the datasource specified there overwrites the config made in standardjaws.xml
