Whenever we have some problem with the database we get this exception although at the time of my run the database has come up and is active
java.sql.SQLException: Io exception: Broken pipe
We have to restart jBoss to reconnect. I thought jBoss should be able to reconnect without having us restarting jBoss. Are there any configuration stuff that I missed or is this the usual behaviour.
