Deployment on InformixDB: Total length of columns in constra

Hello,

I'm deploying 1 entity bean on JBoss 3.0.4 configured with
Informix as DB. During deployment I get an exception:
java.sql.SQlException Total length of columns in constraint is to long.
Can somebody explain me what this means?

I also made an other application containing 2 entity beans ( with CMR field) and a sessionbean. this application deploys fine.

Can somebody give me some advice on this topic?

Do you use a varchar-Field (Java-Type String) as PK or FK ?
Java-Type String is mapped in standardsjbosscmp-jdbc.xml to varchar(255).
But Informix does not allow to put an index on it.
You may
1. change the mapping (varchar(250))
2. use bean specific a special field mapping in jbosscmp-jdbc.xml
