Commit: no transaction in progress - Postgresql

We're using JBoss 3.0.7 and postgresql 7.3.2

Both with JDBC type 2 & Type 3 drivers we keep on getting the following warnings in postgre's logs:

WARNING: COMMIT: no transaction in progress

We got a *LOT* of these. We created our DS by using the sample provided with JBoss (changing DB URL and user name / pwd)

We have also an outofmemoryerror in JBoss after a while. Is this could be related?
