I've downloaded last snapshot and "RF-956 Messages produce unnessesarry html when no messages exsist" is not fixed yet. Could you add to that document the first snapshot that has each fix?

Today snapshot (richfaces-ui-3.1.1-20070926.010353-13.jar) doesn't fix it either.

My problem is I've realized it doesn't really fits my needs, even fixed. I've open a Jira with a request: http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/RF-1059

It'd be nice being able to apply different styles to the container depending on its category.

Hi,

I'm using 3.1.1-GA version of RichFaces, and mi <rich:messages> tag looks like this:

<rich:messages errorClass="error" infoClass="info" warnClass="warn" globalOnly="true" />

The clases "error", "info" and "warn" has some CSS styles for border and background colors. The problem is that when there are no messages, tag still draw some HTML:

I've seen the "fix" is a "display: none;", but in my version it doesn't put it. Could you give me any tip?

There's a previous Jira report which is supposed to be fixed in that version. The fix I suggested doesn't fix html code appearance but style.
