        I'm getting the exact same thing have you any luck yet. I've used weblogic before, but jboss is proving really difficult to just get up and started.

          Yes, I have found just the same. I have used many types of server before from Netware 3.11 to IBM Domino, WebSphere and Borland Enterprise Server.
          Never come across anything quite this difficult to get going in some basic way.

          They really should provide proper install instructions if they expect to get beyond the evaulation phase.
