3.2 documentation

Can find no mention of status regarding above since posts by stark in early May. I now want to purchase an annual docs subscription. Only May issue is currently available (3.2 draft only) with 3.2 final docs promised in June edition - when? only 4 days left. Really do'nt want to take risk of wasting time learning 3.2 with 3.0 docs if June ed. is held up into July or even August when everone is on holiday and nothing may get done!. Also that would be a month or more subscription snuffed out if the drafts that are supposed to be in the May ed. are unusable. (and I cant judge either of those, till after I bought them exept on basis of QuickStart-3.x.pdf!). If I buy now does sub start 1st May or date of purchase?
If similar happens at other end of annual sub, could essentialy lose out at both ends. Presume you hope that many subscribers re-new their subscription at the end of each year and therefore I am sure build good value into docs even when software is free.
Would appreciate any answers in respect of enquiries above especially expectation for 3.2 final docs release.

My advice is to get them now and start reading.

The subscription should be a calendar year and nothing to do with when updates come out.

This means that if you don't have the money next year, you can wait a while, but no point waiting now, get the docs now and start working. The draft jboss3.2 docs are fairly upto date, you should worry more about jboss4.0 docs coming out !

Is there really 3.2.x documentation out there? I am referring to documentation that has been updated specifically for this release? I bought the JBossBook_304.pdf book not too long ago. However, I'd buy the new doc IF it talks about changes and things specific in just the 3.2.x server.

Why is the documentation page hard to find in the JBoss site?

The May 2003 version of the docs had the draft jboss 3.2.x Admin and Development docs.

Havn't seen the June 2003 docs that are up now, but should have the final jboss 3.2.x Admin and Development docs .

They do'nt. Same draft 3.2.1, unchanged since 20th May.

Downloaded the "June" version of the docs yesterday.

The jboss Admin and Development Docs (3.2.x series), dated 28th June 2003 looks to be final, that is the "draft" in the title has been dropped.

the All Docs yearly subscription will keep you upto date. Buying the docs individually will get frustrating when updates come out and you've still got the old docs !
