    Where to buy the docs?

    oscpro

      Hi,

I am trying to buy the annual subscription docs.

When using the "Buy now" link it sent me to the ComponentSource web site but with a "No Results Found. " message.

So I wrote to the ComponentSource support. Here is their answer:
      ...
Jboss Documentation is for sale directly from Jboss' website. Browse to
www.jboss.org. Under Services, choose Documentation, then on the resulting
      page click buy now.
      ...

If I follow their instruction I end up back to the initial link that sent me to the ComponentSource page with the "No Results Found. " message.

So who is really selling the docs and where to buy them?

      Thanks.

          I tried it again today.

The link works now but when trying to buy an Unix version of the docs, it sends you a useless Windows executable.

Yes, its a pain and we are trying to get them to update their process to not have to go through this. You have to email support@componentsource.com to get an alternate download link.

ComponentSource has added a "Unix Edition" to all JBoss documentation in the JBoss store.

If you select the Unix Edition when purchasing JBoss documentation, you will not be required to download a Windows executable file as part of the download. You will be able to directly download the documentation .ZIP file.

              Thank you,
