Funny Blue Bars in Docu?

Hi.

Just bought the latest JBoss docu (Admin & Dev) and was wondering what the blue bars on the left of almost every page mean...looks like some type of change tracking. I'll try and post a gif...jive keeps crashing when i try at the moment.

Does anyone know if i can turn them off somehow?

They mark changes from the previous version.

Thats great...is there no way to get rid of them when printing?

I don't know of a way, it's not a feature in PDF but in the editor Scott uses to write the documentation.
