I sent a long message to ComponentSource explaining why the buying process was painful. Guess I'll forward it to the JBoss guys too as an FYI. -
5. Re: Is ComponentSource Serving JBoss Well?
csourcechrisb Mar 19, 2004 5:23 PM (in response to jfrosch)ComponentSource has been working hard at improving the process for providing updates to JBoss Comprehensive Documentation Subscription customers. When we receive updates from JBoss, we make every effort to get them to customers as soon as possible.
The most recent update was received this month. Emails are being sent now to notify all current subscribers.
If you are a current Comprehensive Documentation subscriber and do not receive an email from ComponentSource notifying you of the new release, please send an email to support@componentsource.com
We have also improved the process for new subscribers. You can now purchase the Comprehensive Documentation subscription for Unix/Linux. The documentation is exactly the same, but by purchasing the Unix version, you can download the documentation directly. In other words, you are no longer expected to download and run the Windows .EXE file to complete the download.
We appreciate the patience you have shown as we have tried to make the fulfillment of JBoss subscriptions as streamlined and transparent as possible.
Thank you,
Your ComponentSource customer service team
