Java process down when i close my telnet connection ???

Hi all,

I launch my jboss with run.sh script across a telnet session on Sun 2.8 :

nohup ./run.sh &

With a ps command i see my detached java process (father=1), but when i close my telnet session : my java process down.

I don't understand :(

probably not the right forum to ask; try beginners corner next.

Anyway:

Please try tho close stdin (and stderr); nohup only redirects stdout:

nohup ./run.sh 0<&- &

or read input from /dev/null

nohup ./run.sh </dev>
