I looked at the compact introduction of aop at o'reilly,
and at the simplemetadata class and wondered if it wouldn't be handy to have a function enablig/disabling a metadata group.
If in the third example the enableTracing/disableTracing are toggled in conjunction with the get/set filter then in the calls before disableTracing the get/set filter is applied. After calling disableTracing/enableTracing though there seems no way the required get/set behavior can be re-instantiated. Maybe this calls for an disabled/enabled tag in the group definition.
I don't have a practical use though...
