    AOP Tutorial

      Hi ,

      I am really intrested to know what is AOP and why Jboss is behind AOP. we use jboss 3.* vesrion for three projects. what benifit i get jboss AOP frame work..

      can any body tell me some downloadable tutorials on AOP ..where i can learn what is AOP .. may be after that i can think about why jboss is using it

          WIth the next version of JBoss AOP you will be able to use it with JBoss 3.x, but JDK 1.4 or higher will be required.. take a look at the aop home page for now. New version of JBoss AOP should have a lot more docs, but I'm focusing on the next version rather than writing docs for current.

            Since JBossAOP can be used standalone I guess it is not possible to use JBossAOP with JBoss 3.* because of ClassLoader issues?

              the next release of JBoss AOP will have a precompiler and should be able to work with JBoss 3.x. The precompiler will allow it to run anywhere. THis is already implemented in HEAD. The next release should be mid-marc.
