RMI-IIOP transactional support in JBOSS

I have tried to run several Jboss examples in transactional mode. Unfortunately, it looks like Jboss is not sending transactional context on the RMI-IIOP call.

Can anyone verify whether Jboss supports transactional context when using RMI-IIOP.

This is a TODO item. Right now JBoss supports transaction demarcation over JRMP, but not over IIOP.

Transaction demarcation over IIOP is already in CVS HEAD. This functionality will be in the next 4.0 release. Depending on user demand, the IIOP transaction code might be backported to the 3.2 branch.

Note that I'm not talking about a full-blown distributed transaction monitor (yet). The new code simply allows you to do over IIOP what you already could do over JRMP (transaction demarcation).
