I am a new QA Manager for company, which works in prepaid card industry. We are producing a Java-based middleware applications (prepaid phone cards, Gift cards etc). It is a backend transactions with no interface {POS (terminal) send a request -> we (Merchant Interface Layer, JBOSS, XML, SOAP, Linux, Windows) -> Vendor databases -> response back to us and to the terminal (POS). There is a lot of tools for Java unit testing. What about QA Testing tool to test a middleware from end-to-end (request<-> response transactions)? Can you recommend something valuable? The Tool or (and) book? I will appreciate it. I am lost... Looks like everybody do only web applications.
