1. Re: sub-tasks of JBAS-5384
thomas.diesler May 29, 2008 3:25 AM (in response to aloubyansky)build, deploy, test is only a two step process
http://jbws.dyndns.org/mediawiki/index.php?title=Building_From_Source#Checkout_and_build_JBossWS-Native
Reproduction of this issue would probably only add complication. -

aloubyansky May 29, 2008 4:16 AM (in response to aloubyansky)Unfortunately I don't know how the issue can be fixed w/o doing that "complication" work. This is essential to work it out.
This happens during marshalling, so I need
- the XSD against which the object is marshalled;
- the classes and initialization part of the object being marshalled.
The hint to narrow it down is "Missing value for the required attribute strAttr of element {http://org.jboss.test.ws/jbws720/types}getProperty" -

thomas.diesler May 29, 2008 5:03 AM (in response to aloubyansky)Do you see the issue when you run the test?

4. Re: sub-tasks of JBAS-5384
aloubyansky May 29, 2008 5:48 AM (in response to aloubyansky)I don't have the WS codebase set up. I wouldn't like to do it just to run this test.

thomas.diesler May 29, 2008 5:58 AM (in response to aloubyansky)Be brave - I hold your hand - its only a two step process. Any other way would be much more work. You can meet me on skype, if you get stack or the wiki docu is not sufficient.

6. Re: sub-tasks of JBAS-5384
aloubyansky May 29, 2008 6:29 AM (in response to aloubyansky)I am not going to do that. I can't fix it w/o getting the things I asked for. If you are not going to provide those then I'll reassign the issue to you and you can find someone else to work on it.

7. Re: sub-tasks of JBAS-5384
thomas.diesler May 29, 2008 7:56 AM (in response to aloubyansky)Well, you made an invalid change to jbossxb that breaks stuff and shows in the jbossws test suite. There is a two step process to reproduce the failure and an infinitly more complex process to send artifacs forth and back.
Moreover the failure is probably a duplicate of http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBWS-720 which you have fixed in the past. Now it is broken again.
The artifacts you ask for are available here
http://fisheye.jboss.com/browse/JBossWS/stack/native/trunk/modules/testsuite/native-tests/src/test/java/org/jboss/test/ws/jaxrpc/jbws720
and the related resources dir - this of course I don't need to tell you ;-) -
8. Re: sub-tasks of JBAS-5384
aloubyansky Jun 2, 2008 9:43 AM (in response to aloubyansky)Or maybe you have an inval test.
The schema says the strAttr attribute is required but in the test its value is null. Hence, the error. -

aloubyansky Jun 3, 2008 6:11 PM (in response to aloubyansky)Thanks for pointing out what? The error message from the jira issue you created?

That's exactly why we are having these discussions. Before creating issues and talking about infinite complexity make an effort to read the error message.
Next time you are going to be "brave" and show that your code is doing everything right. That's not too much. That's how other guys work.
