table sorting only in scrollableDataTable?

Hello,

I am totally new to RichFaces, so maybe I just misunderstood sth. here, but is it possible that sorting works only in rich:scrollableDataTable?

according to the tld and the reference, rich:column has the attributes sortable and sortExpression.

So far it seems that I can set sortable to false in a scrollableDataTable to disable sorting of that column, but it seems I cannot set it to true in a rich:dataTable?

Can someone tell me that I am totally wrong and simply doing something incorrect or if it is true that it only works in a scrollable?

Yep, sortable and sortableExpression have meaning only for the rich:scrollableDataTable.

Sorting for the dataTable is planned for the future versions, if I'm not mistaken.
