Why are Richfaces components so slowly, i tested RichTree with ajax switch type,

With a local test the request is by over one sec.(Seam 2.0, jboss4.2.1, Jrockit6...Fast filter, server side state saving...)

The same stuff with php near 100ms.

Have you any ideas, to enhance the performence? For our customers it's not acceptable.

What time does it take to switch a node.

near one sec in average, without persistence for node switching.
sometimes is page area updating to slow as loading the entire page.
