I have a problem with rich:messages not showing messages. I'm using JBossAS 4.2.1, Seam 2.0.CR2 and Richfaces 3.1.2.
AFAIK the problem is that rich:messages doesn't show messages when redirecting to a page and i think that it is richfaces problem because h:messages shows them correctly.
Problem can be reprodused using seam-gen'd application and changing h:messages in home.xhtml to rich:messages. After that when you login the "Welcome, username" message doesn't show only the yellow box arround the message.
Has anybody else had similar problems or am I doing something wrong?
