I had these 2 working great with older versions and it was the best !
Me too have the same problem.
Can you tell which exactly was the "working" version of them both?
this bug still seems to be present. i just set up a linux machine and installed the current version of eclipse(3.2.0) and JBoss Eclipse IDE (1.6.0 GA).
when i try to access the xdoclet properties of my project, i get the same error.
that so sad :( - i just wanted to evaluate JBoss, and i cannot even setup a project. i hope this is getting fixed soon - it's a real major blocker.
to all those who have the same problem:
this bug seems to be a JBoss Eclipse IDE 1.6.0 problem.
i kicked my 1.6.0 and just installed the 2.0.0 Alpha - the error is gone!
probably downloading a bundled version of jboss ide and eclipse will do it, too, and you have no alpha...
I'm getting the same error message with 1.6.0. Does anyone know if there are plans to fix this in 1.6? I'd hate to jump to an alpha release.
Same problem. Very annoying, I'm trying to eval JBoss for my company.. it's an uphill battle as it is.. and now this.
Using version 1.6.0 GA of the plugin on Mac OS 10.4.7, Eclipse 3.2.0
Has a new bug been opened?
Although I hated to jump to the alpha release, I ended up doing it anyway. Once I did that, my troubles were gone... at least for now ;-)
i get this error message if i choose JBoss Servers->JBoss Eclipse IDE in Windows->Preferences. Is the error back in IDE 2 beta Win32 bundle?
Got the same error running the tutorial.
I would like to know when a stable production will be available
I have the same problem.
I'm using Eclipse 3.2.1 and Jboss IDE 1.6.0 GA.
there is a patch to solve this problem?
How can I trust this product. I got the same error just follow the tutorial to create my first J2EE application.
I have the same problem,
Use eclipse 3.2.1 and JBoss 1.5.1.
This might be a problem as eclipse 3.2.1 is newer that the JBoss 1.5.1.
I run into the same configuration problem....
Is the best way of getteing along with it to use
or shall I use the
eclipse bundled with the JBoss package.
But I don't know,
where Do I find that bundled JBoss/Eclipse????
Can anybody help me?
same problem - Eclipse 3.2.0, Jboss IDE 1.6.0, following tutorial
