RHDS Source code build

Hi All,

I have downloaded the source code for RedHat Developer Studio from ftp://ftp.redhat.com/pub/redhat/rhdevstudio/beta/rhdevstudio-1.0-Beta2/rhdevstudio-1.0.0.beta2.source.tar.gz. Please let me know the steps for buildling the same.

For example the IDE, the associated jars.

It's eclipse plugin project - import it into eclipse and you have it there.

Hello Max,

As you have mentioned, I have imported the code in eclipse3.3(that comes with RHDS beta1) by import->existing projects into workspace, but it shows me a lot of errors because the libraries like dtdparser.jar, hibernate jars , freemaker.jar are not already there in the source code.

Please let me know if I am doing wrong somewhere.

Yes - this is the pure source afaik.

The simplest way to get everything is to checkout the code from jboss tools.

See jboss.org/tools on how to get that.
