ERROR 500

I have jboss-3.0.4_tomcat-4.1.12 version and jdk1.3.1_01 version of java.
When I execute jboss_home/bin/run.bat and try to launch the initial
page
http://localhost:8080 the server reply error 500
in the window I detect: MAPPING configuration ERROR
How can I display the index page.
