ejbRemove on stateful session bean?

hi,

specified in jboss.xml :

<cache-policy>org.jboss.ejb.plugins.LRUStatefulContextCachePolicy</cache-policy>
<cache-policy-conf>
<min-capacity>1</min-capacity>
<max-capacity>1000000</max-capacity>
<remover-period>30</remover-period>
<max-bean-life>100</max-bean-life>
<overager-period>30</overager-period>
<max-bean-age>60</max-bean-age>

=> stateful session bean should be removed - but ejbRemove is never called? is bean passivated (after 60 sec's) and expires silently? when will it be removed then?

If a stateful bean times out while in the "passivated" state, ejbRemove will not be called - it goes directly to "does not exist". So yes, it pretty much "expires silently".

no wonder in my case, having no instances in the cache, and the create count is > 0, and the ejbRemove counter is 0
