Agreed.

I think this is important and would actually seem to suggest the need for something like a jboss-ra.xml file or some other similar config mechanism. As you suggested, this could be reasonable for not only the WorkManager, but the Timer stuff as well.

Of course, we wouldn't have to limit the jboss-ra.xml file to these things, but it would be a start in talking about what could actually go in this file.
