So do we want to include this with the configuration of jboss 4.2? There will be only one merged configuration with ejb3 included, so we either include or exlude quartz-ra.rar (before it was only part of the ejb3 setup).

I need to confirm with the EJB3 team whether or not they actually require the RAR. I don't believe they do but I will double check.

Just include it in docs/examples/jca and as an option on the installer
then we are done aren't we?

For the simple task of the Quartz RAR being included in the realease (not the full task of Quartz/Timer work).

I don't see anything wrong with including it in 4.2. I am not wild about the implementation for a few reasons (ie starting Quartz by default which can lead to multiple schedulers being active and present it should really wait until an endpoint is deployed that needs it), but what the hell...lock and load.

We include way too much optional content in deploy. All of this should be either in the dist examples or optional stuff for the installer.
