I remember I ran into some troubles when I upgrade to jdk5 in mac, I have to upgrade to the tiger OS which I don't have. I don't see any problems with fedora though, I hope there are no adverse effects with our current applications, so I will try. Anyway, for now, I plan to use only SMTP for sending email alerts and I dont want to setup email in linux. I want to use Jboss for all my solutions so I dont have trouble porting to other systems. Can't I just use some of your older versions just for SMTP purposes?
