    Help, can not send email to hotmail.com?

      I install a JBossMailServer1.0M4 by default.(see http://wiki.jboss.org/wiki/Wiki.jsp?page=HowToInstallJBossMailServer1.0M4) Certainly, I set a DNS for sending Email out.
      When I send emails from test@localhost to wrwttkl22@163.com, wrwttkl22@sohu.com or wrwttkl22@126.com, I can receive all with them. But
      I send an email from test@localhost to wrwttkl22@hotmail.com , I can not receive the email with wrwttkl22@hotmail.com.
      why?

          is it going in the hotmail junk email folder?

          hotmails feisty about what it deems as junk mail

          good luck

          oh, look in your server logs, and see if it is at least connecting to the server (hotmail), you might see an error code?

              it sounds like your DNS is screwed up, or your network connection, it doesnt look like your even connecting to it at all

              you should see, as you did with the other test emails you sent, a section of output, where the two servers are communicating the data. hot mails bad, it's feisty when it comes to junk mail, but not that feisty, you might try capturing your network packets, and see whats going on

              are those two other .com's within your org, or outside it, i.e. are you just having trouble connecting to mail servers outside the organization?

                oh, and at least put in a real domain, or an ip address, as your mail servers domain, or you might possibly get completely rejected by the mailserver your attempting to connect to...you never know!
