    Current status of Project

    akakunin

      Hello all!

What is current status of project. As I can see final 1.0 version was expected in middle of 2006. Is it still active development? When 1.0 final version is planned?

Another question - what the status of IMAP support? As I understand from documentation for M5 it partially supports IMAP for working from Mozilla Thunderbird. Is it more stable for now?

      Thank you for any information.

Looking in the repository (http://fisheye.jboss.org/browse/JBoss/jboss-mail) it seems that there is no more development activity since end of July.

          Is this project dead?
Is there a chance this promising project bring back?
Do we have a chance to see the 1.0 final one day?

There will be a status update soon. The project WILL continue.

Dude, please throw us a bone regarding the status/roadmap.

Seriously though, we are looking to replace our qmail implementation no later than 1Q 2007 and would love to use a Java based mail solution. At a minimum we need IMAP and processing rules sufficient to explode mail to multiple recipients. Virtual domain support would be great too.

Thanks in advance for any little hint as to what lies ahead and when it's coming.

              Thanks.

                  Andy, Ametzger,

Not sure what was discussed "offline", but if any parties are interested, I've been developing on JBMS for the past year, and am open to contributing/consulting....I just need to get a paycheck in order to contribute more than occasionally.
