Dynamic Reportng in Jasper Report

Hi Friends,
I want to generate a jasper report dynamically. The number of columns to be listed will change dynamically. Is it possible to do this using jasper report. If so would you please give me some suggestions on this.

Recently, JasperReports 1.1 added the capability of CrossTab reporting. With this you will be able to do dynamic column reporting without having to use any other external framework.
