merging JBoss (v4) tutorial code with Sun (v1.4) tutorial co

I'm confused about this. When I download the version 1.4 Sun tutorial it comes with an "examples" directory. Likewise, the JBoss version 4 tutorial has an "examples" directory. Both contain a "bank" directory for the Duke's bank demo.

It appears that JBoss needs to build with a jboss-build.xml file versus the Sun build.xml file. I presume there might be other differences like this or else there would be no need for a JBoss version of the directories. Clearly, deleting the JBoss examples and replacing them with the Sun versions won't work so some sort of merge is required.

How should I merge the two examples directories so I can build?

They should be combined. The easiest way to do that is to unzip one of them, then unzip the other one inside of it as explained in the getting started guide.

I guess you are refering to section 3 of the guide. I cannot find the instructions you mention within that section. But I think I understand what to do. I'll give it a try...
