Since 3.2 branch is in maintenance mode and no other parts within 3.2 branch depend on remoting, would like to remove it (especially since the version in 3.2 branch is very old). Remoting will be maintained and updated on the 4.0 and HEAD branches. Please let me know if this is going to be an issue for anyone.
