WYSIWYG html editor?

I'm looking for a CMS system that I can use for my climbing club. The idea is to allow a lot of non-html experts to act as content providers. I just tried out the Nukes 1.0 alpha version, but missed an editor where the user does not have to be an expert in HTML. Eg. some sort of WYSIWYG editor.

It could be really usefull with a more user friendly editor when non html-experts are to add content and maintain a site. I am affraid that the current editor would scare off the people I would like to add content to the site.

Are there any plans about developing an editor, that makes it easier for non experts to edit HTML, insert links, link to existing pages, insert pictures etc ?

Maybe you could also take a look at project 'walter'. It's a newly started cross-platform WYSIWYG project. See http://sourceforge.net/projects/walter/ for more information. A demo of the current code is available at http://walter.sourceforge.net/try/walter.htm . Not very sexy yet, but it does work for non-Windows users.

I checked a few free / open source WYSIWIG editors and most of them offer nice features. htmlare is nice too, but if I checked it right, you can't delete table rows unless you do it in the html source. That's not good.

On creation of content I want to have a table loaded with dummy data, so the user can just replace the date without messing up the view.

Unfortunatelly, most really good editors out there require IE, so that's an issue. The ones that don't, lack of features.

It's PHP and requires IE 5.5, but having something similar to this would be wonderfull. So if anyone is aware of something like that, please post.
