1. Re: Where can I find the Nukes source code files
julien1 Dec 11, 2003 4:23 AM (in response to prab)you can find the source code in the CVS. Nukes-1.0RC1 should be out by the end of the week. We will release the source code as well.
You come from the php world I am glad. However nukes is not done in .jsp. That means that most of the code are .java source files that needs to be recompiled.
But adding blocks and changing theme can be done without re-compilation, we will provide example in the RC1.

prab Dec 11, 2003 11:01 PM (in response to prab)Hi
Julien pls clarify my doubts .
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Julien: you can find the source code in the CVS. Nukes-1.0RC1 should be out by the end of the week. We will release the source code as well.
-->so, there is no source code available where as in POSTNUKE, in postnuke we can have all .php files, we can add new functionality by writing new modules.

So, for any additional code we need to write new code to achieve new functionality??? then how can we know what base classes are used in earlier code and how to call the existing functions and all.
pls write in detail to solve my problem.
by the way pls give me your personal mail id, so that i can contact you directly for further reference and assistance, mine is php@rediffmail.com
