Newbie Modules w/ easy install

I just downloaded the easy-install and had it up and running in about 3 minutes, and 2 of that was the startup script! Thanks Marc, it looks excellent!

But I've spent the last hour trying to figure out how I can get the FAQ, News, and Polls modules installed into that easy unzip install... Do I have to check these things out of CVS and build them myself, or are there packaged components I can just drop in the right spot and deploy?

these modules are buildable from the src version but we did nolt include them because they need to be revamped. they will be available in future versions.

So I"ve been playing with the easy download and run for a few days, and today I got curious and downloaded the source for that version (I have not yet gotten source from CVS).

In the downloadable source for version 1.0, the source for the faq, news, polls, and quotes all seems to be there. Is this stuff really not built into the easy install? There is no way to deploy this stuff?

you can go into each component and execute the following command to compile and deploy

build deploy
