Strange problem with rich:inputNumberSlider

Hello,
I have a problem with inputNumberSlider. Its value is associated with the backing bean but when the slider shows up on screen (via ajax request) it is set to zero (although the bean value is non zero) and "moves" magically to its appropriate position at the moment when the mouse leaves the page window. I know this sounds ridiculous but that's the sort of behavior I observe. Any ideas?

works as designed. After you update slider via ajax - the object created from scratch and the position set after it created. So temporarily it's value - 0.

Hmm, but then why does it get updated after moving my mouse a bit?! And is there a way to set its initial value to the value from the backing bean, which would display immediately?

HI,

I am having exactly the same problem. any solution to this yet ?
In F.F the slider position itself correctly after some time but in IE it does not at all.
The behavior is definitely different between an ajax request and form submission.
... so cant believe it designed to be like this.

Will appreciate any help on this.
